Vintage Native American Hopi Tuuwaqatsi pendant necklace. TheTuuwaqatsior earth symbol is the main symbol of the Hopi people. The round pendant was designed and hand crafted by a skillful Hopi silversmith. It is a heavy pendant with a textured finish and an overlay design on an oxidized background for a striking contrast. This earth symbol is very important to the Hopi and it even appears in their flag. The pendant is hanging on a sterling box chain that is 16.5 inches long. It is signed on the back JBJ.
